Dental insurance quote for two crowns.

I have two old crowns that really need to be replaced. I am in the market for dental insurance to help me out with my dental cost. I would like a quote range for crowns so that I know which plan I should get. How do I know what my cost is for crown replacements.

If you are just wanting to have your crown replaced just to have new one many dental insurance plan will not cover something like that. Just like changing silver filling to white filling are not normally covered.
There needs to be a reason why you are having to have a new crown. Such as you have a cavity under your current crown making you fix the cavity and get a new crown.
For your need just to replace them you may want to look more at a dental discount plan were you would get the discounted savings. To know cost just review the plans fee schedule.

If you are going to buy dental insurance I would call and confirm the plan in quesition will cover crown replacements. That way you know ahead of time.
Dental insurance will either tell you your cost for a dental service based on a fee schedule like an HMO or they will state the percentage on which the plan will pay for major dental services such as a PPO
Just review each plan and see which one you think will work best for you.
